Playa de Las Canteras is a very long sandy beach in the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. There is a long wall of big rocks in the sea that can be seen when the tide is low, hence its name “Las canteras” which means “the big rocks”.

Being the main beach of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, it is the locals favourite since it is right in the city  and it can be enjoyed all year long.
